Energy Performance Certificates Wolverhampton
If you wish to sell or rent your Wolverhampton home you will legally need an Energy performance certificate.
Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are the government’s way of complying with the Energy Performance of Building Directive.
The purpose of the EPC is to record how energy efficient a property is. They will rate the energy efficiency and CO2 emissions of
property from A (very efficient) to G (very inefficient)
EPCs are produced using standard methods and assumptions about
energy use to enable prospective buyers, tenants, owners
and occupiers to compare buildings of the same type.
EPCs always come with a recommendation report that lists cost
effective suggestions to improve the energy rating of your home and
an indicator of what could be achieved if all the recommendations were
implemented.
EPCs last for Ten years and you will need one if you wish to sell or rent
out your property.
I have produced EPCs for lots of properties in Wolverhampton.
I provide a friendly personal service delivering your EPC within
24 hours of an inspection.
